A plant supervisor checks the class or grade of your operator licence against what the facility requires, then reads for the process type and capacity you have run and whether you can work a rotating shift. Regulatory and reporting experience comes next, because that is what the plant is inspected on.
Operator certification is issued by state agencies in graded tiers with experience and examination requirements at each level, and water treatment, water distribution and wastewater are separate certifications. Reciprocity between states exists but is not automatic, so name your certifying state and grade. Confined space and chemical handling training are routine requirements.

Add safety record and callback rate if you have them, because on a job site those are worth as much as speed. If you have run a crew or trained apprentices, say so plainly — that is the difference between a hand and a lead.
