The summary, written as a scope statement

Business titles mean different things at different company sizes, so use the summary to fix your scope: how many people, how large a budget, how many sites, which systems. A reader who cannot place your level from the first three lines has to guess, and they usually guess low.

Because the same job title covers very different jobs at different company sizes, a reader is reconstructing your scope from whatever numbers are visible — headcount, budget, sites, systems — and when those are missing they settle on the smaller version of your role.

The project list is read before anything else, and a mismatch in sector or value ends the review quickly, because healthcare and industrial work carry different requirements. Interviews focus on a job that went badly: what caused the slip, how the schedule was recovered, how the change order was priced and defended. References from owners and subcontractors are commonly taken. Many firms also ask what software the office runs, since Procore and its equivalents shape daily work.

Showing ownership rather than involvement

The dividing line in business hiring is between what you ran and what you were part of. "Supported the implementation" and "ran the implementation" describe different jobs, and interviewers will find out which is true. Attach the number that shows the scope — the spend, the headcount, the cycle time — and let the verb do the rest.
