Many properties hire from their own dealer school and will train the second and third games in house. Because gaming employees are licensed, the offer is conditional on a background investigation that examines finances and criminal history in detail and can take weeks.

A pit manager checks that you hold, or can obtain, the state gaming licence, then reads for the games you deal and at what limits, because a dealer is scheduled by game. Give the games, the table limits and the hands or rounds per hour you hold, because pace and accuracy are what the floor is measured on. Chip handling accuracy, procedure adherence and any dual-rate or supervisory shifts you have covered are worth stating. Guest handling matters here too — say how you have managed a difficult table without calling security.
