Arbsbuy LLC β€” Seller / Vendor Policy (Marketplace)

This Seller / Vendor Policy (β€œPolicy”) outlines the requirements, rules, responsibilities, and standards for individuals and businesses selling on the Arbsbuy Marketplace. By creating a seller account or listing products, you agree to comply with all terms below. These rules apply to all present and future product categories across the Arbsbuy ecosystem.

1. Seller Eligibility

To become an approved seller on Arbsbuy Marketplace, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide a valid CNIC, Passport, or government ID
  • Provide valid business information (if applicable)
  • Provide accurate bank/withdrawal details
  • Agree to all Arbsbuy Marketplace policies
  • Not have been suspended previously from any major marketplace due to fraud or misconduct

Arbsbuy reserves the right to accept or reject any seller application.

2. Seller Onboarding Requirements

Sellers must provide the following during registration:

  • Full legal name or business name
  • Government-issued identification
  • Valid email address & phone number
  • Bank account or digital wallet for payouts
  • Accurate business address or warehouse address
  • Product category selection
  • Proof of product authenticity for restricted categories

Verification may take 24–72 hours.

3. Product Listing Requirements

All listings must be truthful, complete, and compliant with Arbsbuy standards.

3.1 Mandatory Listing Details

  • Accurate product title
  • Clear description (no false claims)
  • High-quality images (no watermarks unless owned by seller)
  • Correct pricing
  • Available stock quantity
  • Size, color, material, and specifications
  • Gemstone certificates (if applicable)
  • Warranty/guarantee details (if applicable)

3.2 Prohibited Listings

Sellers may NOT list:

  • Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods
  • Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
  • Adult products or explicit content
  • Drugs, tobacco, or restricted medical supplies
  • Fake gemstones or misrepresented jewelry
  • Expired, opened, or used beauty or cosmetic products
  • Pirated software or digital goods
  • Products violating copyrights or trademarks

Violations may result in account suspension or legal action.

4. Product Quality Standards

All sellers must ensure products meet the following standards:

  • Brand new and unused (unless clearly marked as β€œrefurbished”)
  • Accurate representations of the items shipped
  • Safe and compliant with local regulations
  • Properly packaged to prevent damage

Special Requirements for Gemstones & Jewelry

  • Must include a certificate of authenticity (if advertised as certified)
  • Must provide true origin, clarity, and treatment details
  • Stones must not be misrepresented in size, weight, or material

5. Order Processing & Shipping Responsibilities

Sellers must fulfill orders within the specified timeframe:

  • Standard Products: Ship within 1–3 business days
  • Custom/POD Products: Ship within 5–7 business days
  • Gemstones/Jewelry: Export documents must be prepared within 1–3 days

Sellers must also:

  • Provide valid tracking numbers within 24 hours of shipping
  • Ensure packaging is secure and professional
  • Use reliable couriers
  • Not include promotional materials or competitor branding

Repeated late shipments may lead to penalties or account suspension.

6. Returns & Refunds Responsibility

All sellers must follow Arbsbuy’s Returns & Refunds Policy.

Seller responsibilities:

  • Accept returns for defective, damaged, or incorrect items
  • Respond to return requests within 48 hours
  • Provide return address for item inspection
  • Approve refunds for eligible claims

Non-returnable items:

  • Used, worn, or unhygienic items
  • Beauty/cosmetics once opened
  • Custom-made or print-on-demand products
  • Gemstones whose seals are broken

7. Commissions & Payouts

Arbsbuy Marketplace charges a commission on each sale:

  • Commission percentage varies by category
  • Commission is deducted automatically before payouts
  • Payouts are issued weekly or monthly (depending on seller tier)
  • Payouts require accurate withdrawal details

Arbsbuy may delay payouts due to fraud checks, customer disputes, or account irregularities.

8. Seller Performance Standards

To ensure a high-quality marketplace, sellers must meet strict standards:

  • Order dispatch rate above 95%
  • Cancellation rate below 2%
  • Return rate below 5%
  • High-quality product listings
  • Fast responses to customer inquiries (48 hours max)
  • Accurate tracking information
  • No counterfeit or misrepresented items

Failure to maintain these standards may result in warnings, penalties, or suspension.

9. Intellectual Property Compliance

Sellers must respect intellectual property laws.

  • No counterfeit goods
  • No unauthorized branding/logos
  • No stolen product images
  • No trademark infringement

Verified IP violation claims will result in immediate product removal or account closure.

10. Fraud Prevention & Security

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Listing fake or misrepresented products
  • Uploading fake certificates (especially for gemstones)
  • Selling used items as new
  • Providing false tracking numbers
  • Accepting payment outside the platform
  • Cancelling orders repeatedly to manipulate stock
  • Manipulating reviews or ratings

Fraudulent behavior may lead to legal action.

11. Customer Service Expectations

Sellers must provide excellent customer support:

  • Respond within 48 hours
  • Be polite and professional
  • Resolve issues quickly
  • Provide replacements or refunds when required
  • Maintain accurate communication with Arbsbuy support

12. Account Suspension & Termination

Arbsbuy may suspend or terminate seller accounts for:

  • Repeated policy violations
  • Fraudulent activity
  • High return rates
  • Poor product quality
  • Late shipping or unshipped orders
  • Legal or compliance issues
  • Customer complaints

Suspended sellers may appeal by contacting support.

13. Data Protection & Privacy

Sellers must comply with privacy regulations including:

  • GDPR (for EU customers)
  • U.S. data protection laws
  • No unauthorized use of customer information
  • No storing of payment details
  • No sharing customer data outside order fulfillment

14. Amendments to This Policy

Arbsbuy LLC may update this policy to align with business changes, legal requirements, new features, or marketplace expansions.

Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
